The Photographer’s Voice:
~
My style of photography is finding art with the camera. What might mean nothing to the casual observer, might be art to me. I hunt with my camera, travelling to different locales that might offer a new shot opportunity. Like any photographer, it’s what is in my mind’s eye – what appeals to me as a shot. I look for collages, textures, colours, scenes, and juxtapositions where it all comes together in a quintessential moment in time. Every shot that meets my creative standard is reproduced on canvas.
The Photographer’s Muse:

One of my favourite shots is “Translucence”. Like many photographs, it came about as a surprise. I was on a safari tour in Cuba that included The Bellamar Caves. I was climbing down into the cave when I saw this beautiful pool of water. The only light on it was partial from the cave opening overhead. The challenge was to capture the shot with just enough natural light so I could get the right exposure. After a number of angles and attempts, I was happy I finally got what I wanted. This was the best Cuban souvenir of all.
